Your Profile

Software developer (m/f/d) in the field of medical technology

Responsible for software development and documentation in the field of active medical devices for endoscopic spine surgery.

Your Tasks

• Independent development of software modules for products in the field of medical technology (endoscopy / spine)
• Specification of interfaces and coordination with internal and external development partners
• Supervision of the software life cycle (development process, build environment, SW verification)
• Creation of software documentation according to IEC 62304
• Processing of questions in the area of CyberSecurity

Your Profile

• Completed technical or scientific studies e.g. with focus on information technology (IT), programming, communications engineering, embedded systems, software engineering or comparable qualifications
• Experience in front-end development, embedded Linux and test frameworks
• Knowledge in object-oriented programming, especially C++
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• Very strong technical understanding and interest in medical technology products

Your Tasks

• Ensuring that production in the assigned area is carried out on schedule and in accordance with quality standards
• Scheduling of workstation allocation
• Optimization of procedures and processes as well as standardization of production
• Organization of maintenance, servicing and repair of all machines, systems and equipment in the area of responsibility
• Organization of proper storage, as well as supply and disposal of the necessary operating supplies and waste in compliance with the accident prevention regulations (UVV)
• Responsible for the production accompanying documentation

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training as industrial mechanic machining (m / w / d), tool mechanic (m / w / d), precision mechanic (m / w / d) or comparable qualification
• 3-5 years of professional experience, master craftsman or technician desirable
• Work experience in the medical technology industry, ideally in the manufacture of surgical instruments and small parts
• Good knowledge of materials, experience in machining stainless steels and adept knowledge of programming and setting up CNC machines

CAD Designer / Design Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Responsibility for product development, in particular the design of instruments from the initial idea to the production-ready product
• Creation of 2D and 3D designs with SolidWorks
• Supervision of the preparation of manufacturing documents (e.g. drawing derivations, parts lists, etc.)
• Independent processing of work packages in the project
• Close cooperation with manufacturers of supplier parts
• Processing of technical product changes in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Planning and execution of tests for verification and/or validation
• Execution of compatibility considerations

Your Profile

• Completed technical or scientific studies or technician, e.g. specializing in medical technology
• Several years of practical experience in the design of mechanical components, ideally in medical technology
• Sound knowledge and expertise in CAD design (Solid Works)
• Good knowledge of MS Office products
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• Very strong technical understanding
• First experience in technical documentation
