Implants for spinal stabilization
Pedicle screws
The patented Percusys® Plus pedicle screws all have the same outer design with the characteristic, very slim extension shaft (Ø 12 mm). The screws are available in diameters of 5, 6, 7 and 8 mm, with lengths from 35 up to 55 mm (depending on the diameter). The screw size is color-coded, with cannulation for safe implantation over a guide wire.
All screw variants are available with both polyaxial and monoaxial tulips. The screws are self-tapping, self-drilling and can be cemented in all diameters.
The pre-assembled set screw reduces the number of surgical steps and makes handling by surgical staff easier.
Due to the variability of the implants, different surgical techniques can be used depending on the intraoperative situation. Percusys® Plus implants are sterile and individually packaged.
Polyaxial pedicle screw with >40 mm reduction length (for spondylolisthesis)
Monoaxial pedicle screw with >40 mm reduction length (for spondylolisthesis)
Rods for stabilization
The rods are available lordotically pre-bent in various lengths from 20 to 120 mm. Longer rods up to 300 mm are also available in a straight version. Two different rod diameters are available: 5.5 mm and 6 mm for exceptionally high stability. Percusys® Plus rods are made of titanium alloy.
In some cases, the rod can be inserted through an existing incision. The extension shaft of the screw can be used as a guide during insertion. The shaft allows percutaneous implantation and contains the set screw.
Titanium Rods lordotically contoured version (20-120 mm lenght) and straight version (130 bis 300 mm lenght)
