joimax® Celebrates its 5th Anniversary With the Market Launch of Vitegra® II at the MEDICA 2006 in Dusseldorf, Germany
KARLSRUHE, Germany, November 15th 2006: joimax® “medical solutions” GmbH, Karlsruhe, will celebrate its 5th anniversary at the MEDICA 2006, the 38th World Forum for Medicine, held in Dusseldorf, Germany. Following the incorporation of joimax® GmbH, on November 15th, 2001, joimax® exhibited for the first time at the MEDICA, presenting then Vitegra® I, a visual integration system. Now, in November 2006, following company expansion which now includes a presence in the US-market, joimax® launches the Vitegra™ II HD system, its new generation of fully integrated digital image- and video recording device with: HDD, DVD, Touch-Monitor, Voice activation or Hand- and Foot Switch activation. Thanks to Vitegra® II HD being the first documentation system on the market which is offering a HD-ready high resolution 17″ monitor with four signal channels for Endo- and Exto camera signals, X-ray and ultrasound images or any other video signal source – all potential OR-patient specific images and videos can now be easily documented within one digital file. Additionally surgeons are able to record audio sequences during the video recording mode (voice-over-video) and carry out editing of all patient specific data. At the end of any procedure all the collected data can be archived either onto a DVD-ROM or to an USB-stick. Additionally the collected data can be transferred to a LAN-server or to a DICOM-server.
From there archived data can be transferred on line to any point on the globe.
“The Vitegra® II HD represents an important element within our total product offering, especially due to its close relationship to THESSYS®, our industry leading endoscopic transforaminal spinal system. With products like Vitegra II HD we feel we continue to bring innovation to the orthopaedic market, with special emphasis on the spinal market. During 2007 we will continue to introduce new products and treatment options to the rapidly growing world wide spinal market,” states Wolfgang Ries, the Founder, Managing Director and Co-Inventor of a variety of joimax’s technologies.
