Dr. Ralf Wagner

Dr. Ralf Wagner is a specialist in orthopaedics and spinal surgery. After studying medicine in Regensburg, Munich and Paris, he worked in traumatology at the Hospital of the Merciful Brothers (“Barmherzige Brüder”) in Regensburg. From 2001 he worked in orthopaedics, specialising in shoulder and spine orthopaedics, at the Rummelsberger Anstalten Wichernhaus, and from 2003 held the position of chief resident and senior physician at the Klinikum Karlsbad Langensteinbach. In 2007 he became head of the Spine Centre in the Bethanien Hospital in Frankfurt.
As a past competitive athlete, Dr. Wagner is committed to targeted medical strengthening therapy in order to alleviate pain and avoid an operation if possible. He is an active member of the German Spine Society (“die Deutsche Wirbelsäulengesellschaft”), and in addition to presenting and assisting at a wide range of joimax® TESSYS® workshops and events as a faculty member, he has also presented at the Cervical Spine Research Society (Rome 2003) and at the German Sports Medicine Symposium in Pichlarn.
