Menno Iprenburg, MD

Following his medical studies in Utrecht, the Netherlands, Menno Iprenburg worked in Germany and Tanzania, before returning to the Netherlands where he worked as an orthopaedic consultant in the Wilhelmina Hospital in Assen from 1980 until 2006. From 2007 he held the position of Managing Director of the Spine Centre at the Abe Lenstra Stadium in Heerenveen, and since July 2009 runs his own “Spine Clinic Iprenburg” in Veenhuizen.

Menno Iprenburg has been a senior faculty member with joimax® GmbH since 2005, and has performed over 700 TESSYS® operations in this time. He has also published studies on the topic including “Transforaminal Endoscopic Surgery – Technique and Provisional Results in Prelimary Disc Herniation" (European Musculoskeletal Review, Issue 2, 2007) and, together with Dr. Alexander Godschalx, “Transforaminal Endoscopic Surgery in Lumbar Disc Herniation in an Economic Crisis – the TESSYS Method" (US Muscoloskeletal Review, 2008).
