Dr. Alexander Godschalx

Dr. Alexander Godschalx completed his medical studies at the Catholic University of Nijmegen, followed by studies in anaesthesiology at the Radboud University in Nijmegen. In 1997 he began working in the Wilhelmina Hospital in Assen, with his main focus being on anaesthesiological pain treatment. Since July 2009 he also holds the position of head anaesthetist at the Spine Clinic Iprenburg in Veenhuizen.
Dr. Godschalx has been a faculty member with joimax® GmbH since 2006, and has acted as anaesthetist for over 500 TESSYS® operations in this time. He has also published studies on the topic including “Transforaminal Endoscopic Surgery in Lumbar Disc Herniation in an Economic Crisis – the TESSYS Method" (US Muscoloskeletal Review, 2008) together with Menno Iprenburg MD.
